OSG partners with MayCham to engage actively with the Malaysian youths in Shanghai. OSG and MayCham will jointly organize youth-focused events that bring Malaysian students in Shanghai closer to the business and professional communities, both within and outside the Chamber.

Executive Director, MIT Professional Education
Bhaskar Pant is a globally experienced senior executive and educator with over thirty years working experience across five continents in higher education and electronic media.
As the Executive Director of MIT Professional Education, he oversees multi-lingual MIT education programs delivered to over 12,000 professionals across the globe. He also teaches intercultural communication to MIT engineering students, staff and industry professionals around the world. He had previously taught a graduate course in intercultural management at Harvard University’s Extension school.
Prior to joining MIT, Bhaskar Pant held senior leadership positions in academic and corporate organizations internationally spanning three decades. He is specifically an expert in setting up, managing and/or growing global education activities with entrepreneurial, market-centered innovation.
Bhaskar Pant is also known for scaling programs driven by global diversity and inclusion as major pillars of operations and growth, with emphasis on emerging economies. Among his entrepreneurial experiences, Bhaskar Pant founded and later sold his New Delhi-based “global people skills” training company with a portfolio of blue-chip corporate clients in South Asia.
Bhaskar Pant holds on undergraduate degree in electrical engineering from the University of Rochester and a graduate degree in communications and management from Indiana University in Bloomington. His articles have been published in the Harvard Business Review and the European Business Review. In 2021, Bhaskar Pant was honored with an inaugural national award from the Universities Professional and Continuing Education Association in the US recognizing his leadership in diversity and inclusive excellence.

Dr. Chan is also the Founder and Chairman of OCEA Hub. OCEA Hub is a premium global business O2O community network based in Shanghai China, with OCEA vision of “ United Overseas People Around the World” , empowers Overseas People and Chinese to connect each other during startup and business growth in China and to Belt and Road countries.
He has nearly 30 years' experiences in real estate and investment both 10 years in the US and HK and 20 years in Mainland China. He is specialized in Global funds investment in China and is widely recognized as one of the leaders in this field. Had successfully advised Citigroup, Lehman Brothers, Credit Suisse, Macquarie Bank, and more in investing in China real estate.
Dr. Chan also taught MBA courses for Newport University and project management courses for Curtin University in their Hong Kong campuses. He was also formerly appointed as a project manager in Hong Kong Shui On Group. When in the U.S., Dr. Samson Chan served as a project manager in Gerald Mele Associates. He has a profound knowledge and experience in the development and financial services of residential, retail, and industrial projects in Hong Kong and the U.S.
In addition, Dr. Chan has continually devoted himself to providing coaching and career development for universities students both in Hong Kong and Mainland China. For past 20 years, he had coached over 500 universities students through summer internship program in Shanghai.
Dr. Samson Chan holds an undergraduate degree in Civil engineering from the California State University, USA and a Master of Business Administration from the National University, California, USA. He had also obtained a Doctorate of Business Administration from Newport University, California, USA.
Pang Yee Ean
Chief Executive Officer, Surbana Jurong Capital at Surbana Jurong Private Limited
Yee Ean is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Surbana Jurong Capital, an investment platform of Surbana Jurong Group that focuses on the financing of infrastructure and urban development. Surbana Jurong Capital leverages the extensive engineering skills and development network of Surbana Jurong Group (SJ), which has over 70 years of track record, a workforce of 16,500 engineering and urban professionals, and more than 120 offices globally.
Prior to this appointment, he served as the Director General of Investment Operations in AIIB, where he strategically identified and executed infrastructure investments in Asia. Has also held various senior positions at Ascendas, including Senior Vice President in charge of Real Estates Funds where he co-led the SGX listing of a S$700 million market value Ascendas Hospitality Trust, and Assistant Chief Executive Officer of Ascendas Services Pte Ltd, where he oversaw the asset management of Ascendas’ industrial and commercial developments in both listed and non-listed entities in Singapore.
In his capacity as Head of Ascendas North India, he set up Ascendas’ office in Gurgaon and oversaw 750,000 square feet of IT park space in Special Economic Zone (SEZ) projects located in Gurgaon, Nagpur and Pune. Yee Ean was also previously stationed in Hyderabad, where he led two major acquisitions of IT Parks – The V and Cyber Pearl. The former was the largest real estate transaction in India then.
Yee Ean graduated with a Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National University of Singapore under a JTC Corporation scholarship. He obtained his Master’s in business administration from the National University of Singapore.
Sophie started her career in the US at Fairchild Semiconductor Manufacturing Company and subsequently worked as assistant accountant for an American Silicon Valley company. She was subsequently appointed as the Secretary-General of Taiwan Oceania Cultural and Economic Exchange Association. In Taiwan, Sophie served as the General Manager of Taiwan Huizhi Enterprise Management Co. Ltd and Taiwan Speedway Communication Co., Ltd.
In Shanghai, Sophie was a former Partner of US Bear Stern Fund Management.
She has taught at the department of Business Management of Soochow University as a lecturer, and at department of Business Management of Taiwan Sun Yat-sen University as an adjunct professor.
Sophie is passionate about psychological counseling and has volunteered in a variety of organizations, including as a foreign student advisor of UC Berkeley, and Kaohsiung office of Taiwan Wan-Ching Association. She also founded the “Mr Zhang’s office” at Taiwan Sun Yat-sen University, “Talking Teacher” hotlines of Taiwan University of Science and Technology, Kaohsiung Women’s Center.
Sophie obtained her MBA from University of California Berkeley and a degree in geography from Taiwan University. She is the author of “Management of Enterprise Wisdom Resource” published in 2002 by Shanghai University of Finance and Economic Publishing Company.
Managing Director of KrASIA and Vice President of 36kr Global
Robyn manages KrASIA, the English arm of 36Kr. Headquartered in Beijing, 36Kr has distinguished itself as the leading Chinese media platform for technology and innovation. KrASIA’s mission is to bridge the information gap between China and SEA through multilingual articles and innovation consulting.
Upon graduation, Robyn decided to dive into the startup ecosystem. Her experiences include working for a venture accelerator, where she was part of a startup’s expansion to Manila, Philippines, and taking over a failing startup before selling it in 2016.
Prior to her role at KrASIA, she was at SMU’s Institute of Innovation & Entrepreneurship, where she led the incubation team. In her free time, Robyn gives free haircuts with the Back Alley Barbers, does weight training and tortures her neighbors with her viola practice.

Lilly is the Founder and Diector of Coach-Hauz Academy, an Training and Coaching Consultancy dedicated to the Experiental and Gamified Learning.

Kent is an active supporter of OSG since 2017 – in roles such as OSG Talk panelist, MMW mentor, and designer. Frequenting between Shanghai and Singapore, Kent will lead OSG's endeavor in communications support, i.e., from branding to marketing and public relations.

Since 1986, worked with Fortune 500 companies for technology-enabled business process transformation across multiple generations of technology revolution including Knowledge Discovery, Data Mining, Artificial Intelligence (AI), CRM, Mobile Internet, Cloud Computing, Omnichannel Retail and Blockchain.
Actively engaged in entrepreneurial ventures by investing, incubating and mentoring technology start-ups and growing some of them successfully to matured company.

Brian is an internationalist with distinctive experiences from Western and Eastern cultures. After graduating from Queen Mary, University of London, Brian started his career in London before his transfer to Hong Kong and subsequent root into Shanghai for 20 years. He has a unique domain covering retail, talent acquisition and education with corporate roles with PwC and Marks & Spencer as well as entrepreneur ventures operating 3 executive search partnerships across 15 years in Shanghai. Currently, Brian is a Singapore-based business owner of Caelum Coaching, a boutique advisory dedicated to career and executive coaching service.
Brian is a major advocate for volunteerism to encourage social activism and life-long learning for bettering society. As a youth, Brian completed his Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award Scheme and continued to serve community development projects in Yunnan, Cambodia, and Thailand.
Mentoring youths has been a natural journey and Brian supported the 2018 Sustainable Sustainability Startathon as well as several Mentor-Mentee Walks in Shanghai. Brian returned to Singapore in 2020 and is delighted to extend his support to OSG and the Youth Leadership Team.
Community Development Executive
Regina graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) with a degree in political science and participated in the NUS summer exchange program with Fudan University. During her one-month stay in Shanghai, Regina grew determined to spread the Chinese culture amongst her friends and relatives. Having a strong passion for Chinese culture, Regina shares the mission and vision of OSG and is motivated to bring OSG’s events to more youth.
